Look what people have to say about the RLYW!

CAIRO just takes the Marcels and changes the underlying assumptions and components in a bunch of ways that make the Yankees look better.

Wow, two stupid posts in one day. I think you’ve reached your yearly quota.
sabernar

I don’t know if any of you current posters were around for that, but if so, I just can’t understand how you can call yourselves Yankee fans. Pathetic quitters is what you sounded like. Of the lame posts I could stand to read, the only person who had any confidence in the Yankees at that point was a (yeesh) Red Sox fan.

Yankees.com: Yanks’ three homers off Doc back CC

NEW YORK—The Yankees connected for three home runs on an uncharacteristically vulnerable night for Roy Halladay, and CC Sabathia made it all stand up to record his third straight win as New York posted an 8-3 victory over the Phillies in Tuesday’s rematch of the 2009 World Series.

AAAA pitcher gets bludgeoned when exposed to real major leaguers.  Film at 11.

CC Sabathia was shaky in the fourth, but other than that he pitched pretty well.  It was the 35th quality start of the season for the Yankees (at least 6 IP, no more than 3 runs allowed).  That’s roughly middle of the pack amongst AL teams, but I thought this was worth noting.

The average AL team has won about 70% of the time they’ve gotten a quality start in 2010 (actually something like 68.9%).
The Yankees are now 32-3 when they’ve gotten a quality start this year. That’s a little better than 91% of the time.
