The news that James Kaprielian needs Tommy John surgery comes as no surprise, given all the ominous signals emanating from the organization after
Kaprielian complained of pain in his oft-injured right elbow before his 2017 season was about to get underway at Class-A Tampa.
The Yankee prospect is scheduled to go under the knife on April 18, operated on by Dr. Neal ElAttrache in Los Angeles.
Well, that stinks.
