Look what people have to say about the RLYW!

CAIRO just takes the Marcels and changes the underlying assumptions and components in a bunch of ways that make the Yankees look better.

Wow, two stupid posts in one day. I think you’ve reached your yearly quota.
sabernar

I don’t know if any of you current posters were around for that, but if so, I just can’t understand how you can call yourselves Yankee fans. Pathetic quitters is what you sounded like. Of the lame posts I could stand to read, the only person who had any confidence in the Yankees at that point was a (yeesh) Red Sox fan.
Jeter is King

Quite the attitude you have SG. Maybe you should shitcan this blog and join Steve at WasWatching? Or follow some other stupid team that has made the PS 15 of the last 17 years. Jeez… and some people think Yankee fans are entitled.

Dominican Today: Embattled Major Leaguer’s life ends in tragedy

Santo Domingo.- The embattled ex Major League pitcher Pascual (Cuta) Perez was killed Thursday during an armed robbery at his residence in the town of Haina, 10 miles west of the capital.

The hurler received his Major League Baseball pension money yesterday, and the likely motive for the fatal assault and a stab wound to the neck.  He was reportedly suffering from an ailment at the time of the attack.

If you were unfortunate to be a Yankee fan in 1990 and 1991 you probably remember Pascual Perez.  When just about every Yankee fan was hoping for the Yankees to sign a Montreal Expo free agent named Mark Langston the Yankees wound up with Perez instead.

He didn’t pitch many games for the Yankees, but he was memorable for his antics and his eephus pitches.  This is sad news.  RIP Pascual.
