Judge coming back to life?

Too busy at work to catch the first. missed all the fun.  3-1 lead, its in the bag.

[1] More probably broken clock right twice a day?

Just caught replay, right center is good.

It would be great if Sonny Gray could just dominate the rest of this game.

They already gave up on Bird?

A 5 run lead, its in the bank.

That was a good story from Suzie.

Machado is annoyingly good at baseball.

So Chase will never leave the #2 spot, right? smile

Machado being good doesn’t annoy me, since the Yankees can sign him in a couple of years and I’d like for him to be still good for them.

Guess that’s why Bird’s not playing, why’s Todd? 7-0 its in the bank.

Come on Brian you know how this works. The Yankees will sign Harper for eleventy billion dollars, he’ll get hurt crowdsurfing over the short wall and average .220 with 12 dingers the rest of his career. They’ll call him the Thin Mo Vaughn.

Meanwhile, Machado signs for 60 bucks a day to play in Boston, the Townies ship Devers to LA for Kershaw in baseball’s first sign-and-trade, and the Red Sox go on to win the next 14 straight WS.

It’s just cripplingly obvious.

Devers? More like Brock Holt.

[13] Kershaw & Price winning in October? Yeah, maybe once every solar eclipse.

How many more runs to bullpen proof this game?

16 You were saying?

Chad Green is quickly rising on my list of favorite Yankees. I feel more relaxed with him on the mound than almost any other reliever.

[18] He’s the best pitcher on the team right now.  Maybe second-best after Severino.

I still think he could be a serviceable starter but that ship has sailed.

8 run lead and they can’t go Shreve or Kahnle so Green will be available tomorrow?

[20] Stick with the hot hand. Why risk bringing in a guy who won’t have it and start Tuesday all over again.

Not giving up on Green as a starter. Sevy was great in the bullpen last year (and was terrible as a starter) and see what happened this year.

Had they held on Tuesday Baltimore would be dead. Alas.

Yay Pythag, one run games we don’t need to win no stinking one run games.

Another win in a rubber game of a 3 game series. Nice. Also good to see judge hitting a HR that matters. Not late in the game but still meaningful. And sonny gray is good.

I am loving the Sonny Gray experience so far. It’s just so nice to have a guy that you can rely on for a competent performance pretty much every time out there. Even when he loses, it’s not because he was rocked.
