The stars are aligned tonight.

The Yanks are gonna get a Taste of Colon (TOC)

A-Rod used to feast on colon if I recall

Looks like nobody is home today.  My guess is you’re all out on the street because the fleet is in town.

Hello home runs allowed.

I remember when CC was GREAT!

CC clearly has the TOC today.

Fortunatelly, Colon is also getting a pretty good TOCC going.

When did Hughes get so large?

Zombie Texmex?

Teixeira! Less terrible than before!

The score could easily be 7-6 now.  Not sure if it’s safe to turn the sound on to hear if the wind is blowing out - I can’t handle the risk of hearing about the announcers’ golf games again.

Text message.  Homers are wonderful but must they all be o solo mio.  Serling wisely pointed out that we’d be be better when Tex and Arod are hitting.

[12] I bet we’d also be better if Russel Martin could get his average above his weight.

Bunt hits! Although apparently he should have been out.

Small ball, baby.  It’s how we dos.

What’s the rule about the third out - if there’s a man on third and he crosses the base before who hits a grounder to short is thrown out, the run doesn’t count, right?  Complex kind of rule.

On the way to 7 anyway.

Teix has been pretty decent for a few games now, right?

[16] - No runs count on a force-out for the third out.  Runs count if the player crosses the plate before a tag-out though.

What just happened?  A single through the shift for Teix?

[19] Sterling said they weren’t shifting, and it would have been an out if they were.

Two nice plays by Jeter - quick strong throws.

Jeter now tied with Brett at 15th on the All Time Hits list.

EDIT:  14th for those who discount Cap Anson’s time in the National Association.

[20] - Yeah, guess I wasn’t watching too closely.  I thought the 2B that couldn’t get the ball was actually the SS playing the shift.

[19] Ok, that makes sense.  I was thinking about run downs, but of course that way of writing the rule is simple.

This made me laugh.  Probably some truth to it.

That was some nice middle-infield play in that inning.

Shift that, suckers!

WOW be gone.  Johnny (Tex ) be good.

Woot victory!

Can the Yankees and rangers swap divisions?

Yay win!
