With the Yankees down to their third string closer, I’m guessing Girardi will be looking for ‘length’ from CC tonight. Former Yankee Bill Hall would sure look nice in the Yankee lineup with that .333/.500/1.333 line, wouldn’t he? Then again, Jayson Nix as starting LF is evidence that the Yankees have no issues on offense.
Comments
The snarky comment could mention how Nix has essentially the same SLG% as Teix, and Teix is only ahead because of last night’s mescaline trip of a game.
Or how ridiculous it is that Teix is hitting ahead of Granderson and Andruuu.
Hey, Teix almost has the same SLG% as A-Rod
Is it cause Teix refuses to clog the bases?
Josh Hamilton has more HRs than Russell Martin has hits.
Pitcher A 2.71 ERA, 1.20 WHIP, 5.5 K/9, 1.83 K/BB
Pitcher B 3.54 ERA, 1.44 WHIP, 6.9 K/9, 1.42 K/BB
Jeter needs a day off.
Swisher needs to walk more
Is baseball really worth watching right now with a slumping Jeter and no Robertson…
Adam Jones is good at baseball
My first post with my new Razr Maxx and someday I’ll buy a computer. Seeing the way townies pitching shut down Mariners I’m less impressed retroactively with Hughes. But still hopeful.
CC vs Chen would be a shame to lose.
I feel like if they made everyone on the roster pull their position assignments out of a hat, they’d be all roughly the same level of mediocre.
A lot of people seem to have got the memo that we would suck tonight
Is bench a position? Teix would be good at that.
I’m thinking this isn’t happening tonight.
Cano is lazy
Woe, Chen has some nice numbers but WTF? Can he possibly be this good?
Granderson!
Jeff Maier lives.
Do damage to Shields, Price, Felix and Hamels. Shut down by Millstone and Chen. You can’t .....
So… could any team have had this Chen guy? I don’t recall any hype.
Chen projected to be pretty good. He’s got a solid fastball and had some impressive numbers in Japan.
The big concern was Chen was he was coming back from an injury, but I really thought he was an astute pickup.
Awesome.
Passball ? I thought the Yankees were all kinds of 1% rich or something as far as catching depth in the organization.
WTE
I’m liking this inning.
DFA Cano.
Tough to watch again
Cano. And he’s laughing about it. Laughing !
Oh, wait. That’s just his gameday photo. But still….
Holy Motown, Brian Roberts looks just like Josh Becky. Why on Mo’s green earth would one cultivate such an appearence?
It’s the concussions.
Why do they bother?
Well that was worth two hours of my life.
[34] I didn’t know they did, Major.
Chen was really awesome. Sometimes you just run into a Buck led squad and… Buck wins. Not often but it does happen.
[33] Thank you SG. I got hit on the head and forgot about that. Seriously.
Yankees lose, Sox win, Rays win. Why do I wish to kill myself?
