Yankees.com: Yanks place new closer Robertson on DL

Yankees reliever David Robertson has been placed on the 15-day disabled list with a left oblique strain.

The Yankees have recalled right-hander Cody Eppley from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

Oh boy!

Well, best case scenario is that Soriano is great as the closer and Robertson does not get the job back when he returns (but continues to dominate as an 8th inning guy), leading to Soriano opting out after this season.
