They need to make a decision about Holliday, now.

From RAB:

He’s hitting .130/.164/.188 (-14 wRC+) with a 30.1% strikeout rate since the break. Yikes. Go back to June 12th and Holliday is hitting .133/.205/.248 (17 wRC+) in his last 28 games.

The only option until Hixie returns or a waiver trade is Els. Also Castro won’t be back for a while. In any case Binder doesn’t give up on his vets.

He’s no use as he is right now.

[3] “as he is right now”

So you don’t think it’s a slump, you think his career’s over?

I mean, it’s possible.

FYI - Todd Frazier’s stats are Yankee-only, which is a bit misleading.  Overall his slugging is much higher.

Frazier’s been worth 1.1 fWAR as a Yankee?  That can’t be right either.

You get extra fWAR for Godfather music.

[7]
Don’t they always play the Chairman for him?  Not Whitey Ford, the other one.

Oh, I hadn’t noticed. They always made a big deal about him coming up to the Godfather Waltz in Cincy/Chicago.

Ooh. WARtastic.

SG’s back ! Now with moar WAR!!!1!

Tribe jumping Sale.

Down 3-0 to the era champ, no hit pitcher, era Leader probably insurmountable.

Good luck to the Yankees offense.

Todd, Todd he’s our man if he can’t do it no one can. No one can.

So much fail in that lineup. The offense hasn’t been the same since Hicks went down, or so it seems. Hard to believe.

Time for a new knee brace.

Well done, this team hates man on 3rd less than two out.

#Pathetic

Nobody comes back from 4 down against a triple threat era leader, no hit 17 strikeout 80 million dollar pitcher.

[18] It has become standard over the past 4 or 5 seasons. Terrible approaches year-in and year-out.

Yankees are 11.9% of the 12% that doesn’t score with man on 3rd and no out.

Tyler you don’t hit well enough or have enough power to be swinging at that 💩.

NuneEE hitting 475 as a townie. Kill me now.  So glad we got Todd.

Judge is pressing something fierce.

Judge has K’d at least once in 19 straight games.

@16

5.58 v. 5.36 RPG pre and post Hicks

[27] Okay.

27 It’s much bigger than Hixie, Judge has turned into Kingman, Holliday into Pronk, Todd stinks, Wade isn’t ready this, team is offensively challenged without Judge carrying the team and tonight against a pitcher having a horrible year they can’t do crap.

Whelp, mlb.tv done it again. Earlier this year they issued an update to their player on smart tv’s, withdrawing support for anything older than 2013.

Then a major shitstorm ensued on their support forum, and it came back.

Now they’ve orphaned them again.

Oh, it’s not a technical issue - the update will play the Nov 2 world series game.

They simply made a business decision to force us to junk our TV’s. But hey, who DOESN’T buy a new set of TV’s for the house every 3 years anyway ?

They’ve done this with LG, Sony, and Panasonic, too. 2013 is the oldest, and those will slide off next year. Toshiba are off the list entirely.

Sanchez 6 era and 70 era+ this year and last. A sick and embarrassing performance by the offense.

Florial 1-4 with a double in his High-A debut.

Chris Sale gave up 7 runs and the Red Sox are going to win the game. That’s annoying.

Not as annoying as this shit show. Judge now under 200 last 28 days.

The Holliday/Todd axis of suck. Can we get Bruce on waivers?

I have faith Judge will hit a little sooner or later.holliday? Not.
Should have got Duda (Duda)

Chance Adams 6 IP 5 H 1 ER 4 BB 3 K 5 GB 5 8 FB

Holliday and Todd the locus of suck.

Clint: Do ya feel lucky, punk ?

Beaten by Shane freakin’ Greene. Yikes.

RISP is going to kill this team. They’ll barely miss the playoffs or get bounced in one round because they can’t get a hit with RISP. Teams should just walk to load bases and they can get a shutout against this lineup.

Clint falling to earth with an 0-5, hitting 255 OPS under 800. Welcome to the team.

RISP fail, the new New York Yankees.

Yankees with a one run loss as it should be now 11-20.  Those wins were the outliers.

Is tomorrow smack-a Tanaka day? Or can he go back-to-back good games?

46 Day Game🤔☠️

One of the worst one-two punches of the season. First that shitty loss, where they were THIS close to tying it on the errant pickoff attempt, to the Red Sox blowing a lead in the ninth and then winning it with a two-out walkoff home run by Christian fucking Vazquez. So the Yankees are back in second place.

Sale gives up 7, Bosox with 2nd and 3rd, two out in the 9th, big hit wins it for them. Yes, no pop up here.
